Chimsen News | Chimsen wins bid for Huaxing Optoelectronics' India factory intelligent engineering and IT integration project

After winning the bid for the Luxshare Precision Vietnam Cloud Data Center, Chimsen Technology has also been awarded the Huaxing Optoelectronics India Industrial Park Intelligent Engineering and IT Integration Project. The winning bid of this project marks another milestone in the comprehensive information construction project of Chimsen Technology's overseas large-scale industrial park.

Project background

Shenzhen Huaxing Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. is a national high-tech enterprise jointly established by the Shenzhen Municipal Government and TCL Group. It is one of the first national intelligent manufacturing pilot demonstration units with a registered capital of 18.34 billion yuan and a total investment of over 150 billion yuan.

The total investment of Huaxing Optoelectronics India Industrial Park module project is 1.53 billion yuan, which will integrate the production of large-sized TV screens and small and medium-sized mobile terminal display screens. The plan is to produce 8 million pieces of 22 inch~55 inch large-sized TV panels and 30 million pieces of 3.5 inch~8 inch small-sized mobile phone panels annually; The intelligent display terminal project designs and produces complete machines ranging from 32 inches to 65 inches, with a planned annual output of 6 million TV units. It not only serves the TCL brand, but also provides ODM services to other brands in the Indian market. Since the groundbreaking ceremony on December 20, 2018, the project has progressed smoothly and is expected to achieve mass production in early 2020.

Service content

The Huaxing module project plans to have both product size and factory construction in two phases. The first phase is equipped with 12 production lines, with half of them being large-sized panels and half being small-sized mobile phone screens. The second phase will make flexible adjustments based on the development trend of the Indian market.

Chimsen Technology is responsible for the design of intelligent and IT infrastructure solutions, equipment and material supply, project implementation and delivery, and operation and maintenance services for the Huaxing Module Phase I factory project.
